Baby blackbirds

Three baby blackbirds snoozing in their nest, which is in a Forsythia just outside our back door. We’ve been watching the male and female come and go for weeks (they have an elaborate changeover procedure for sitting on the nest) and finally I just had to get up on a ladder and have a look.
