New Year’s Day walk

We celebrated the arrival of 2013 with our traditional walk from the Wotton Hatch to the Stephan Langton in Friday Street. Very muddy going after all the rain, but no better way to start another year.
The Olympic Torch in Reigate

The Olympic Torch relay came through Reigate today and went past the end of our road. That’s Charlie about to give the man carrying the torch a high five. A very exciting day and we’re now full of the Olympic spirit!
Knee high by the 4th of July

Our sweetcorn is looking good, but could probably do with more sunshine and less rain. We’re hoping to get an ear or three by the end of August.
