Charlie's marking the end of the baseball season by trying on the White Sox shirt his Uncle Mike and Aunt Jeanne sent him last Christmas. It's still a bit big on him, but he loves wearing it. And as they are saying down at Comiskey Park, "wait until next year!"

Charlie and his friend Taesian enjoy ice cream cones during Taesian's birthday party yesterday. Taesian and Charlie go to the same nursery and are best friends. Charlie had been talking about going to Taesian's party for weeks. Now he's looking forward to his own birthday, when, he says: "I won't be two, I will be three."

Hurrah! The mighty Sheffield Wednesday prevail over their arch-rivals, Sheffield United, 2-0, at Hillsborough (see below) this afternoon. New Owls striker Lloyd Owusu came on as a substitute and scored within 30 seconds. His first touch of the ball as a Wednesday player!
