The Longest Day
Today was the summer solstice, making this the longest day of the year. I never realised just how long the longest day was until I happened to wake up last night at 3.20am and the sky was already getting light. The birds started singing at 3.30am! As I write this, the last light only just left the night sky at 10.45pm. So I’d better get to bed, it will be morning soon…
