The new grill in my life

bbq.jpgAfter holding out for many years, I’m now the proud owner of a gas BBQ, a Canadian-made model called a Fiesta - my birthday present from Alice. We got it on Saturday, I assembled it Sunday morning and we had our first meals from it Sunday and today. All I can say is I love it, and keep asking myself why did we stick with our rusty, old Weber kettle for so long? It’s going to be so nice not to wait an hour and a half for the coals to heat up/cool down, no more searching for charcoal after 1 Sept when they stop selling it in England, no more smoking out the whole neighbourhood five times a week, etc, etc. Not to mention the global warming implications. I reckon giving up charcoal will give us all another 30 seconds on Earth, minimum.

Finally! You’ve seen the light! I got my first one 20+ years ago, and never looked back.

Tried it, hated it….back to the good old Weber. Well at least you got the beverage part right.
